LETTER FROM THE SECRETARY GENERAL

Dear Delegates,

It is my immense pleasure to invite you all to the third edition of the Narsee Monjee College MUN

conference. Narsee Monjee College, a premier Commerce Institute in Mumbai, is known for its bright and talented students. The first year of our intra-college Conference was a massive, unexpected success. After the massive success of two editions, this year, we aim to raise the benchmark even higher, in our own simulation of UN committees.

Nelson Mandela once said: “We can change the world and make it a better place. It is in your hands to make a difference”.  We believe that it is our responsibility to come together and take steps towards this better future we all deserve. We understand the power of youth and their thoughts and hence, a platform like this to propel the potential.

With this in mind, NMC MUN will simulate five committees – three conventional UN committees, HUNSC, UN WOMEN and UNEP, along with a parliamentary committee, Lok Sabha and INTERNATIONAL PRESS. The agendas have been carefully designed with the help of our stellar Executive Board.

Our Conference aims to create an atmosphere of healthy discussions and deliberations on a platform where all kinds of delegates can showcase their public-speaking and policy-making skills. This Conference will also serve as a networking space to be able to participate in lobbying sessions with the leaders of tomorrow.  On behalf of the entire team, I look forward to seeing you at the NMC MUN Conference 2020.
